Recipe of the Week

Brandi Hart requested the recipe for bread pudding that I make. I must give credit to Don's Seafood Restaurant which closed it's doors late last year.



Bread Pudding

9 slices bread, torn into small pieces (I just use white sandwich bread.)

1 cup sugar

1- 13 oz can evaporated milk

2 cups milk

1 tsp vanilla

3 eggs

1/3 cup melted butter

Mix together. Put in 9x13 pan.

Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until set.

***Optional: Drizzle with can of sweetened condensed milk after baking
Add raisins before baking
I've even used dried cranberries...yummy!

  2. Can I request squash soup? :) My fav girly lunch ever.. Squash soup and Quiche. Hey and the recipe for the crust!! umm its so good! I could just eat crust by itself. Wonder if you could make a bowl with the crust and put the squash soup in it?? ya think?
