Baby

Yesterday I encountered this tiny creation.  I was so thrilled that I almost cried.  To give you an idea of the size of this little guy, he would easily fit in the palm of my hand and stands no taller than 3 inches.  It is Spring!

Leslie gives a new meaning to "bowling."

Everytime Leslie comes over she wants to play with anything plastic in my kitchen.  Guess what...I let her!  It is great being the grandmother.

Are you making fun of me?

On July 4th I injured my right calf muscle.  I managed to wobble my way around.  I was afraid of how I was going to get through the Atlanta Airport...but I made it.  Then the first afternoon on the beach I was greeted by this guy.  He wobbled around on one foot.  I thought maybe he was making fun of me.  Vickie and I got a good laugh about it.Posted by Picasa

Tall Surprise

Jackson is working on our sheetrock in the bedroom and sewing room addition.
He really surprised me with this "tall deer."  It shocked me and made me laugh.
I said, "Hold on! Let me grab my camera!"

I Hate Wallpaper!

If I ever tell you that I'm going to put up wallpaper please slap me.  I don't hate wallpaper when it is on the wall...I only hate it when it's time to take it down.

Lunch with the "Girls"

Today Lindsay and Brittany and I met at Olive Garden for lunch.  It was so good to see them.  We had to catch up on school stuff and family stuff.  We occasionally stopped talking long enough to eat our breadsticks of course!  Thanks girls for the fun day.  Let's do it again soon.

My Indian Name

Why do you think Don says that my Indian name should be "Woman Walking Like Duck"?
I just don't get it!

Design Left Behind

Saw this wonderful design the first evening we got to The Breakers.  The beach was solitary but obviously had not been earlier.

Possible Suspects

For those of you who are following the real life drama of the missing figs, you will want to read this post.  Using digital photography and bait, the sting operation has begun and has thus far rendered 3 possible suspects. When I tried to question them they fled the scene. It is believed that they may have left behind traces of their DNA which will need to be sent to CSI lab.  It is not known whether they are all involved or if one is to blame.  Further investigation is needed.  Rumor in the neighborhood is that squirrels and birds may also be involved. Sounds as if there is gang activity in my neighborhood.

The Sunshine Bridge

This is a bridge near St Pete.  I've seen it a distance several times but this was my first time to cross it.  I thought it provided an opportunity for some interesting pictures.
