Garden Sampler

Here is a sampling of the produce from my garden this week.  Plus Grandmother's and Vickie's garden has green beans, yellow squash, tomatoes, and purple hull peas.  This is vegetarian heaven right now!  Great time for Jaime to come for a visit.

Love Notes

Don can and will write a love note on anything he finds in the kitchen.  It is so wonderful to be loved.

Sara Beth Comes to Keithville

Last Friday Brandi brought Sara Beth over to visit for the first time.  All three of us girls had a great time.  Sara Beth was a perfect angel...Brandi acted nice too!  HAHA!  I'm already looking forward to their next visit.

Bradley's Ninth Birthday

Hard to believe my first born grandson just had his 9th birthday.  While we talked to him about planning it he said he didn't want a theme.  He requested a chocolate bundt cake with chocolate icing and chocolate donut holes around it and that is just what he got.
He had a few of his school friends over and they swam, ate pizza and cake and had a fun time.
Bradley's grandma really loves him alot!

My Parents' Anniversary

Today would have been my parents' 69th wedding anniversary.  I love and miss them both. 
Just a reminder to all of the young people in my life...life passes quickly...live well...love much!

Gaura Garden

This is one of my favorite perrenials for our zone...guara.  One common name is whirling butterfly.  Each delicate bloom is shaped like a butterfly and with is spindle type growth habit it whirls around with each breeze.  It will take our heat and I've grown it successfully in full sun...just don't forget to water it!
