This is one of my favorite perrenials for our zone...guara. One common name is whirling butterfly. Each delicate bloom is shaped like a butterfly and with is spindle type growth habit it whirls around with each breeze. It will take our heat and I've grown it successfully in full sun...just don't forget to water it!
Oooo. That is pretty! This is off the subject, but don't worry about monogramming those newborn onesies that I gave you. She has almost outgrown them. She's one month old today and 9 punds 5 ounces.
