There were so many good things about this summer but this might be the culinary highlight.
I got this recipe from my sis-in-law Rosy
Fresh Peach Pie
1 1/2 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 small pack peach jello
2 or more cups of fresh peach slices
cooked pie crust
Combine water, sugar cornstarch and jello. Stir to dissolve. Microwave 8 minutes. (I have to watch carefully to prevent boil over) Pour over sliced peaches in cooked pie crust. Refrigerate until firm. Serve topped with Cool Whip.
We recently attended a baby reveal party for our son, Shane, and his wife, Catie. Even they didn't know until the box of balloons was opened and pink balloons floated away. We are having another granddaughter! We are so excited! We will get to meet her in December.
