Baby

Yesterday I encountered this tiny creation.  I was so thrilled that I almost cried.  To give you an idea of the size of this little guy, he would easily fit in the palm of my hand and stands no taller than 3 inches.  It is Spring!

Lover of George

Olivia's favorite stuffed animal is George. She sleeps with him every night. When I found this Mardi Gras necklace I just had to get it for her.

My Dad

Today is the anniversary of my dad's death.
It has been so long ago.
The memories of that difficult time linger.
I was young, in college and believed that my dad was indestructible.
Then I watched as his body fought for life.
Day by day he lost the battle.
Little did I know about the pain of loss until that March day.
This week a friend of mine lost her father...
grief bubbles up at the thought.
How many times in my adult life
have I longed for his wisdom......
countless.

Remember to treasure those you love now.
So you may treasure their memory
 without
 regret
 later.

I miss you daddy!

Jaime's View

This is the view from Jaime's back patio...can you image waking to that sight every morning?

Lily and Kitty

Soft and sweet... I think Lily is enjoying her new home in the country.

Hooter Hider

I made a new nursing cover for Jaime while I was in Colorado. We didn't want Isaiah to hide under a pink one! I used the one she already had as a pattern. It took less than an hour to make. I think it turned out really good.
